About us:

We are a Brisbane based company offering high quality medical services. We assist our corporate clients by providing advice in the areas of occupational and environmental medicine. Our team provides fitness for duty assessments, medico-legal assessments and reports, HR risk management as well as staff training.

About the Role:

We are looking for someone who can ensure optimal administration efficiency with a focus on full service delivery of case management.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • booking appointments with multiple doctors, allied health practitioners and specialist medical practitioners
  • reporting to service delivery staff on KPIs
  • co-ordinating patient files, including retrieval of medical information
  • timely management all current cases and proactive processing of client requests
  • provision of regular tracking reports and efficient billing
  • regular reporting to management and directors for KPIs and revenue

This is a growing service in a small company that needs a leader to drive outcomes and see that this becomes a successful branch of our business.

The role will incorporate:

  • managing incoming booking requests from the client, doctor, allied health and the patient perspectives, including reminder notifications, recalls and follow-ups
  • tracking all active cases in a cloud based CRM database and generating status updates
  • proactive and regular liaison with doctors and allied health practitioners to ensure timely response to clients
  • close teamwork with doctors managing their tight KPI’s and priorities
  • reviewing and formatting doctor’s reports for quality purposes before sending
  • management, scanning and filing of all patient files (hard and soft copies) as well as doctors' notes
  • liaison with external providers to facilitate retrieval of radiological investigations or hospital notes
  • timely preparation of billing documentation and provision to finance team

About you:

  • be able to work well under pressure with tight KPI’s
  • have strong multi-tasking skills to manage multiple deadlines
  • be able to quickly learn new systems and utilise system functionality and reporting to support your workload
  • have strong computer skills and attention to detail
  • have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • be confident in your own ability but also willing to ask questions
  • be proactive, with a can-do attitude
  • have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • preferably have an understanding of occupational rehabilitation; or previous experience in a technical health administration position or have a clinical/nursing background
