At Home Care is recruiting for a pool of candidates to fill upcoming roles for Disability Support Workers.  Specialising in personalised, in-home care, our team members enjoy rewarding and meaningful working relationships with their clients, and with our supportive and friendly Care Coordinators.

We are particularly seeking support workers who are available for a variety of day and night shifts, in various suburbs north of the river.

At a minimum, you will have a valid drivers licence, and also be willing and able to obtain, the following:

  • National Police Clearance (within last 6 months)
  • Senior First Aid/CPR Certificate
  • Manual Handling Certificate
  • Working with Children Check

You must be able to demonstrate experience in disability or aged care, including:

  • Experience working with quadripligic clients
  • Manual Handling
  • Personal Care
  • Bowel Care
  • Feeding
  • Light domestic duties
  • Social support
  • Assisted daily living

We especially want to hear from you if you have supported clients with high physical care requirements including hoist transfers and bowel management.

IF THIS SOUNDS LIKE YOU, APPLY! Your application must include a brief cover letter so we can get to know you better, and of course you resume/CV, including one contactable professional referee.

While we would love to contact each and every applicant, this is not always possible. We thank every applicant in advance for taking the time to apply.
