Territory Manager

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are seeking a highly motivated Territory Manager to join our SA sales team selling both our iconic and traditional Bickford's brands as well as our new and innovative products. Managing predominately the SA metro territory within the Multi-Channel business unit, the successful applicant will effectively manage, promote and sell Bickford's products in order to maximise brand exposure, sales volumes and profits within the allocated territory. Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • A major focus on new business development, with the ability to be able to think outside of the square to ensure positive results
  • Managing an existing client base of Multi-Channel customers including cafes, restaurants, petrol & convenience stores, bakeries, events, functions and fruit & vegetable stores.
  • Growing volume, distribution and profitability with existing outlets, achieving sales and distribution targets
  • Executing State and National Strategy's, Business Plans, Promotional Programs   
  • Planning and executing an effective journey plan to cover the territory
  • Ensuring the right product mix is sold into stores and outlets
  • Accurate record keeping and entering of data into company systems
  • Timely reporting and sales admin tasks as required

Ideally you will be results orientated, hungry for success and understand the importance of delivering quality customer service to your clients whilst working to meet sales targets.

To be successful in the role you will need to have outstanding interpersonal skills, be willing to challenge the norm and have a genuine passion for achieving goals and developing the business. Proven success in a similar sales role or Retail Experience within an FMCG industry is preferred.
