1st / 2nd Line IT Support Engineer
Our client is a Global multi-disciplinary building design company. They are an organisation with a fabulous "people culture" and the team are fun, hard working with regular social events and plenty of on-going opportunities for the right person.

The Role:

As a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer you will be part of a Global Team offering IT support to users Nationwide. This is a highly autonomous role where your day to day duties will include:
  • Providing 1st/2nd line user support
  • Troubleshooting and resolving IT issues via remote support as well as planned visits to various interstate offices (anticipated travel anywhere from 6-10 interstate trips per annum)
  • Prioritising support calls within the parameters set by the IT Managers as well as escalating calls depending on severity and timescales for resolution
  • Identifying repetitive faults based on information lodged, making recommendations for resolving faults and implementing corrective action
  • Setup, Administration and support of desktops, laptops and skype for business
  • Performing data backups and restores
  • Applications support, liaising with 3rd parties where appropriate
  • Providing training and support to other team members and end users
  • Hardware reviews, IT budget assistance
  • Developing and managing working relationships with co-workers both nationally and globally
To be considered you will have:-
  • 1st / 2nd line IT Support experience (minimum 5 years)
  • Relevant qualifications
  • Experience working in a highly autonomous role with National scope is ideal
  • Good knowledge of office 365 including Sharepoint, 365 Group & User Management
  • The ability to troubleshoot hardware and networking issues
  • Experience in Exchange, Bitlocker, SCCM, registry management and managed desktop environment
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • A true 'can-do' attitude combined with a passion for problem resolution
Candidates who have worked in the Engineering/Construction (or related) / Professional Services industries will be highly regarded.
