About the role:

Located out of our Silverwater branch, NSW, the purpose of this position is to perform technical chiller work on building services equipment while supporting our service and project departments within the Mechanical division.

Overview

  • Display a solid understanding of air conditioning principles and systems and the relevant codes and industry standards which govern their installation and maintenance
  • Ability to effectively diagnose problems and perform work of a technical nature on air conditioning systems to minimise the number of call backs to a site
  • Ensuring the appropriate and timely use of the allocated hand held devise
  • Conduct workplace audits and identify hazards in the workplace

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • HVAC & Refrigeration trade qualification essential
  • Proven experience in the commercial and industrial service, maintenance and installation of equipment within the building services industry
  • Disconnect / Reconnect restricted electrical licence
  • National Arctic refrigerant handling licence
  • Current Australian driver’s licence
  • Solid understanding of the relevant codes and industry standards within the field of work
