Business Support Manager, Fire Services ANZ

Role Overview

Reporting to the Director of Fire Services ANZ this role directly contributes to the quality of ENGIE’s service delivery with respect to our National Administration Centre (NAC) responsibilities, which include the customer call centre, works scheduling, internal/customer reporting and invoicing.

  • Provide leadership to the NAC team, ensuring they have the necessary capabilities and motivation to effectively complete their roles.
  • Obtain regular feedback from internal and external stakeholders to ensure the NAC’s procedures are efficient, effective and improve overall business productivity and team morale
  • Support the human resources process through recruitment and selection of new employees, onboarding and training needs analysis for new hires
  • Monitor the progress of agreed strategic actions within the business under the guidance of the Director, ensuring that issues and risks are communicated promptly
  • Manage the interface with support functions ensuring agreed service levels are being delivered
  • Act as business owner for business specific IT applications ensuring standard usage, vetting and approving all change requests and work with IT on the implementation and roll out of application development initiatives
  • Pursue continuous improvement initiatives with respect to business processes, driving standardisation and centralisation where appropriate

Skills and experience required include:

  • Experience in developing and coaching business management in the use of business process improvement tools and change management techniques, within a large complex organisation preferably within the Building Services industry
  • Advanced Office 365 skills (especially Excel) are essential
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Commerce, Finance, IT or similar disciplines
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems in a Technical / Building Services environment, including database query and analysis techniques
  • Experienced team leader with a proven ability in monitoring and reporting business performance
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Willingness to travel on a regular basis
