Aquatec Fluid Systems are leading Water Innovation Partners to the water and waste water industries. We provide turnkey systems for a wide range of environmental sewerage & water infrastructure solutions, including large scale developments, councils, water authorities and extensive retail and channel partners.

About the Position:

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Mechanical Field Technician looking to further develop their career.

The purpose of this role is to work within our projects team, coordinating and executing all facets of the civil and mechanical phases of our major projects including but not limited to waste water pump-stations, storage vessels and Bio trickle filtering systems. 

About You:

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A strong mechanical (welding) background
  • Drivers Licence
  • Experience working in a civil construction environment
  • Able to read/ interpret engineering drawings
  • A positive attitude and exhibit good behaviours
  • Well developed communication skills for liaising verbally and written with customers and co-workers; and
  • An ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines and be committed to working safely and continuous improvement.

Other desirable qualifications for the position include:

  • Trade Qualification in similar disciplines or industries would be an advantage but not necessary
  • Confined space entry
  • Medium rigid truck licence
  • Forklift operation
  • High risk work licences (e.g. working at height, EWP operation)
