Senior Accountant

About the role

This position operates within a very successful team of accounting professionals offering high quality services to a broad portfolio of clients across the Food, Health, Aged Care and Emerging Industries sectors. Whilst the role will be responsible for financial reporting, application of accounting standards and analysis, the opportunity to contribute to financial modelling, superannuation, and other advisory matters offers variety and range within the position if of interest. This role will include direct liaison with clients, and will be involved in mentoring junior team members.

 

About You

This role will ideally suit someone wanting to move away from audit into a role where they can apply their strong knowledge of accounting standards focussing on statutory financial and management reporting.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Commerce
  • CA accreditation required
  • 3+ years’ experience working within an audit or financial accounting role
  • Proven financial reporting experience
  • A good understanding of Australian accounting standards and their application
  • Analytical approach
  • A client focussed and flexible approach

Highly organised, methodical, and with excellent attention to detail you will be a outcomes-focused thinker with a pragmatic, proactive and flexible approach.
