National Business Manager - Nutritionals

About the role

This role will be responsible for leading the growth of industry sales and developing new business sales opportunities within our newly created Pharmaceuticals category, managing Infant, Sports and Diet Nutrition within Pharmacy, Coles and Woolworths.

Your role will maximise all sales opportunities by proactively creating new opportunities and achieving sales targets. A strong focus will be on developing and managing relationships within the industry and working with them on business growth opportunities that are beneficial to all parties.

This role will be instrumental in supporting the development and execution of new business to achieve sales, volume and growth targets for the category.

  • Develop and leverage insight led strategies to drive growth;
  • Development and growth within existing portfolio;
  • Effective management of sales pipeline and developing strategies for long-term sustained success;
  • Deliver top line growth and margin targets;
  • Comprehensive sales and activity reporting; and
  • Collaboration with internal teams to deliver superior customer service.

About you

To be successful in this position you will demonstrate passion and a high knowledge base within the FMCG industry and be able to deliver on the Company’s expectations.

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business or a related discipline;
  • Minimum 5 years in a National Account Manager role;
  • You will need to have strong commercial acumen, be adaptable, deal with complexity under pressure and be a well-rounded individual;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • High level negotiation skills and ability to influence outcomes;
  • High levels of tenacity and resilience, with a results orientated mentality;
  • Strong analytical skills; and
  • Ability to think creatively and present new proposals to add value.
