This role will be accountable for managing business-as-usual marketing and communications on behalf of the GPRA and will also manage long-term annual projects. This is an extremely diverse role which will see the successful candidate turning their hand to a range of tasks in any given day, across the full spectrum of marketing, communications, advertising, digital and print content, creative design, events and projects.

Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
  • Development and execution of marketing communications collateral for both print and digital channels.
  • Graphic design of printed and digital materials including magazines, books, brochures and posters.
  • High volume communications content development including articles, e-newsletters, EDMs, social media content, media releases and award submissions.
  • Advertising management including managing current advertisers, sourcing additional advertising opportunities; and coordinating content, quotes and deadlines.
  • Supporting the execution and promotion of events – both locally and interstate.
  • Web administration using Wordpress.
  • Long-term project management such as books and annual publications.
  • Depending on changing circumstances, interstate may be a requirement of this position and currently is a minimum of two times per year.
To be considered for this role, your application likely shows the following:
  • Diverse experience across marketing, communications, advertising, digital content, events and projects.
  • Excellent writing, editing and content creation skills across print and online channels.
  • Strong creative design capability with experience in producing high-quality corporate publications and marketing communications collateral.
  • Demonstrated experience in web administration.
  • Experience in producing engaging, high-quality EDMs.
  • Confident, articulate interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience working with diverse audiences.
  • Technology skills across Adobe InDesign & Photoshop, MailChimp, Wordpress and iMovie will be highly regarded.
  • Degree qualification in communications, public relations, or a similar discipline
The hallmarks of your interpersonal style are maturity, resilience, passion and a genuine, authentic approach in all your stakeholder interactions. You will be adept at moving fluidly across a wide range of tasks day-to-day and be able to operate autonomously.
