Our insurance & health team is headed up by 19 well respected principals across six states. The department is recognised throughout the insurance claims industry for producing high quality advice and delivering exceptional service. The team handles claims across all major classes of insurance and acts for the biggest names in the insurance industry both locally and overseas. 

Due to growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Associate or Senior Associate to join our team in Sydney. The role offers a broad range of public liability and general insurance work from an array of clients, with a focus on personal injury and property damage. Candidates should have a solid understanding of the industry, and be experienced and self-sufficient in running and maintaining files with minimal oversight.

The successful candidate will possess previous defendant insurance and litigation experience within the liability area. Candidates with exposure to construction related liabilities and risks is a plus, but not a requirement. Furthermore, candidates will possess strong mentoring skills with the ability to provide assistance with team management in order to support the other senior members of the team. Communication skills, an enthusiastic approach and a focus on client service are also important.

In taking on this role, you will work as part of a highly effective and collegiate team and you will have the opportunity to work closely with highly experienced principals and with assistance from a team of talented lawyers.   You will also enjoy the benefit of good resources, an "open door" policy, structured mentoring and strong administrative support.
