Come and join our thriving and energetic team at Kirinari Community Services! We seek a suitably qualified and/or experienced People and Culture Leader to oversee our employees in the Blue Mountains (Katoomba, Blackheath and surrounds). You will be responsible for the recruitment, on boarding, exit and training process for our people in this area. You will ensure that compliance is met in our work environments and that our teams provide high levels of support and engagement to our staff and customers.

About Kirinari

We are a well regarded disability support organisation that provides high levels of customer service in NSW and Victoria. We employ over 400 staff and offer a fun, proactive team environment with great job satisfaction. Kirinari provide support to customers in their own home, shared accommodation and community access and participation. You will be working in our growing and thriving Blue Mountains branch

People and Culture Leaders

We are seeking a People and Culture Leader that has:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Experience in overseeing the performance of employees.
  • People and Culture Leaders ensure that compliance is met in our work environments and that our teams provide high levels of support and engagement to our employees and customers.
  • Ability to self manage, have exceptional time management skills and work well under pressure. People and Culture Leaders report directly to the Human Resources Manager and work with their Regional Manager
  • You will have the ability to train employees
  • Experience working in a disability/Community Services role is desirable.
  • You will have an understanding of developing strong positive organisational culture
  • Experience in recruitment, WHS and employee relations

  • Able to communicate effectively and positively influence others.
  • Able to work with other departments and colleagues to solve problems across a broad spectrum of issues.
  • Ensure our employees operate within NDIS guidelines and that we achieve great outcomes for our customers.  
  • Able to demonstrate how they have managed employees in a disability or similar environment with great success.
  • Able to be flexible in their approach to work with varying priorities.
  • You are a self starter that loves to be busy and active, working in a variety of locations
