Your new role
To support students in achieving educational success, a learning support teacher for years 7 - 10 is required. This is a part time position commencing as soon as possible and running through until the end of the 2019 school year with a strong likelihood of extending permanently in 2020. This role offers a 0.5FTE load spread over 4 days per week. You will provide support to students in mixture of ways including in class support, small group, and one on one.

What you'll need to succeed
This role requires:

  • NESA registered learning support teacher or high school teacher with learning support experience.
  • Current WWCC
  • Experience in delivering a range of support strategies to students across years 7 - 10
  • Strong working knowledge of NSW and Australian Curriculum standards
  • Ability to differentiate, scaffold and modify curriculum to suit individual learning needs
  • Excellent communication and relationship skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively
