Human Resources Officer

This is an ideal opportunity for the successful candidate to be involved in all aspects of Human Resources and to enjoy a rewarding and satisfying career in a supportive environment.

Reporting directly to the Human Resources Coordinator, you will be integral in the provision of high quality, effective and efficient HR services, programs and initiatives across Council including:

  • First line advice and support to employees and managers on HR policy and procedures

  • Administrative support for all aspects of the employee life cycle from recruitment and induction through to termination

  • Maintenance of HR records & systems

  • Reporting and statistical analysis relating to Human Resources

  • Support for payroll

  • Coordination of learning and organisational development activities

The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills; high level organisational, administrative, attention to detail, problem solving and time-management skills; and the ability to multi-task.

The salary for this position will commence at $58,558.42 per annum + superannuation.
