About the Role

Our client is situated in a remote West Gippsland location and is currently seeking an experienced Human Resource Coordinator to join their team.

This is a temporary full-time position for an initial period of 3-6months Monday - Friday (accommodation available). This position reports to the Human Resource Manager and is newly established to create the scope for the Human Resource Coordinator position to deliver on the duties and responsibilities outlined below. There may be potential for a permanent opportunity.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Contracts of employment on boarding
  • Organising Drug and Alcohol testing and National Police checks
  • Involvement in Off boarding process
  • Staff inductions
  • Maintain personnel records and associated human resource information systems
  • Provide timely professional human resources advice and guidance
  • Distribution of Staff Uniform
  • General administration duties

Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management (Preferred but not essential)
  • Significant experience in a role encompassing HR
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementation of HR Management Systems.
  • Must have Current National Police Check
  • Must have current working with Children's check
