About the Opportunity
  
As the Admissions Officer (Education), you will provide high-level administrative support in relation to student admission processes. You will be involved in the critical administrative tasks associated with the on boarding of domestic students from application through to registration, with a focus on accuracy of data, and compliance with internal and external processes and procedures.
  
Motivated by helping and supporting students take their first steps in accomplishing their dreams, you will be process driven with exemplary level of customer service for all internal and external stakeholders.
  
Reporting to Admissions Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Assessing domestic student applications
  • Ensuring timely and accurate processing of student applications and offer letters
  • Maintaining accurate student records and data entry
  • Managing requests and applications for transfer of credit for prior learning
  • Working closely with the Course and Careers advisors and wider Student Administration and Campus Operations teams
  • Ensuring all agent and student queries are dealt with in a professional and expeditious manner
This is a Permanent Full Time position based in the heart of Sydney CBD – World Square; may be required to work on weekends for Open day and Orientation events.
  
Skills and Experience
  
To be successful in the Admissions Officer (Education) position you will possess:
  • Previous experience in a similar position in higher education would be advantageous
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Flexible and adaptive to change – Willing to work across a roster
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team
  • An ability to solve queries proactively
  • Strong personal drive and self-motivation
