Receptionist & Account Executive

Provide front counter receptionist and sales support at News Corp's Hobart office. Support the Sales team in their quest to achieve revenue growth and strengthen relationships with our customers through efficient service and support to all requests and queries. Work for Australia's # 1 media industry leader and represent several iconic household names across Tasmania including the Mercury and the Sunday Tasmanian.

 

The Role

  • Receptionist duties including greeting visitors and issuing visitor passes, handling customer queries via phone, email and face to face, answering and transferring calls, and receiving and dispatching deliveries and mail.
  • Providing administrative support to the Sales team which will include email inbox management, Salesforce data entry and following proper creative processes to ensure correct advertising bookings are made for our valued customers.
  • Manage data integrity for customer accounts and contracts.
  • Manage payments, credits and debits which will include cash handling.  
  • Proactively solve customer issues and contribute to an innovative and customer focused-culture.
  • Other ad-hoc administrative tasks as required.

 

Who you are

  • You will have receptionist and/or sales administration experience within a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organised with the ability to adhere to set business processes.
  • A confident communicator who can develop and maintain strong working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • You must have a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proactive and effective problem solving skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite and Google Suite.
