OUR CAREER OPPORTUNITY

We are currently searching for experienced Process Operators to join our Nova Operation. Reporting to the Processing Plant Shift Supervisor, this is a permanent shift (day and night) position on a 8:6, 7:7 FIFO roster from Perth. The primary responsibilities of this role will be to achieve and maintain steady state operations of the processing plant and to identify opportunities for improvement of the entire processing plant.


Key accountabilities for this role include:

  • Monitoring and reporting on the process plant performance;
  • Documenting all relevant data on the shift reports and maintain shift diaries with up to date information;
  • Ensure that reagent stock tank levels and other consumables are maintained where required at all times;
  • Work to develop a culture of continuous business improvements;
  • Undertake daily checks and cleaning of equipment and advise if abnormalities in equipment;
  • Communicate directly with the Shift Supervisor to ensure that they are fully versed with problems or critical issues that may impact on the operation of the plant;
  • Report all electrical and mechanical faults and breakdowns to the immediate supervisor; and
  • Perform other tasks as directed by your Supervisor. 

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Substantial experience in a similar role essential;
  • Experience in base metal flotation desirable;
  • High level of understanding of process control systems;
  • Confined Space ticket;
  • Working at Heights ticket;
  • A current and valid Driver’s Licence and Senior First Aid Certificate;
  • EWP ticket (desirable);
  • Telehandler (desirable);
  • Forklift ticket (desirable);
  • Front End Loader/ Skidsteer (desirable);
  • Excavator (desirable); and
  • A strong commitment to workplace safety and a culture of continuous improvement.
