Are you looking to join Australia’s leading airline in Northern Australia? Would you like to spend your days flying 40,000 feet in the sky? Do you have a passion for delivering an inflight service to the highest of standards? Airnorth operates over 250 scheduled services including charter flights weekly throughout Australia and overseas and we are looking for Cabin Crew to join our friendly team. Our cabin crew are the face of our dynamic business and you have an incredibly important role to play as you ensure the wellbeing and safety of our passengers along with your colleagues as you travel throughout the Northern Territory, Western Australia, Queensland and Victoria plus internationally to Timor-Leste. 

We are looking for Cabin Crew team members who possess these strengths:

  • A flexible attitude to working irregular hours across weekends and public holidays
  • A desire for excellence and pursuit of a career in aviation
  • A commitment to the Company’s core values, with safety at the forefront
  • Readiness to meet the challenge of dealing with people in confronting situations
  • A friendly demeanour and passion for providing excellent customer service
  • Impeccable grooming and personal presentation standards
  • An ability to work under pressure and coordinate multiple time sensitive tasks; and
  • Most importantly, be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

Formal requirements of the role include:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken); Tetum is highly advantageous
  • Possession of a valid Passport with 12 months validity
  • Ability to fulfil the physical requirements of the role including working at varying altitudes within a confined pressurised environment
  • Valid ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence
  • Possession of a Responsible Service of Alcohol Certification
  • Ability to swim 100m unaided
  • Hold a valid Senior First Aid Certificate (with current CPR)
  • Be available to attend a 3 week unpaid ground school with dates to be confirmed.
