    The hours of the office are between 7 - 6 however the role is mostly working from 8 - 4 / 4.30pm.

    Time in lieu is given to staff that work excessive overtime for events.

    The Role 

    Reporting to the Marketing Director this Assistant is responsible for the administration requirements of the Marketing and Events Team which include communications, marketing, design, and sales personnel.

    Your day to day is hard to describe due to the broad spectrum of onsite events but here is a list of responsibilities:

    • Administrative assistance to events and marketing team with regards to events programs
    • Managing online registrar for events
    • Database management
    • Taking minutes in meetings
    • Responding to inquiries
    • Developing and distributing the event invitations and event collateral
    • Conducting communication with internal and external entities
    • Drafting documents and correspondence
    • Assisting the the setting up and down of events (sometimes morning and evening duties)

    Position Requirements 

    • Tertiary qualifications in marketing or communication is ideal
    • Extensive administration experience within a busy environment
    • High attention to detail
    • Event coordination experience
    • Very well presented
    • Ability to prioritise and multitask
    • Experience supporting a marketing/ communications or similar team

    This is a unique position that requires outstanding communication, personal presentation and flexibility in a rapidly changing environment.
