Human Resources Generalist

The Company

My client is a global logistics company who currently have an opening for a Human Resources Generalist to join their team looking after Victoria and South Australia. This company has been connecting people around the world for over 50 years now and are a leader in their industry. 

The Role

This role will be reporting to the Human Resources Manager and will be focused on supporting the Victorian and South Australian operations. You will be a key player in implementing HR strategies that are directly linked to the overall global strategy.  

  • Responsible for all talent acquisition, learning and development, performance management and employee relations. 
  • Liaising and forming strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. 
  • You will continuously review and improve on business processes to improve productivity. 
  • You will be required to travel to both New South Wales and South Australia. 
  • Possess a good knowledge of industrial relations which you can share with your team. 
  • Support the HR manager where required. 
  • Consistently drive culture and collaboration while building and supporting a strong team.

Skills & Experience 

A successful candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources position previously and will have a proven track record with a team. You will have experience in industrial relations previously and possess effective communication skills. You will have fantastic attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once. On a cultural level you will be an energetic and enthusiastic person who is a wonderful team player.
