Customer Service Officer

About the role

You will help prepare, publish and distribute House documents; order and proofread the various prints of bills; check and prepare Acts of Parliament for royal assent; and process reports submitted for tabling. In addition, you will help maintain the Legislative Assembly's archives.

You will possess excellent communication skills and a committment to providing to high quality service.  Your great organisational skills will allow you to handle large volumes of documents that are processed within this role, and you work well under pressure to meet deadlines in a time-critical environment. 

You must also be prepared to work overtime when the Legislative Assembly is sitting.

You will be provided with initial and on-going training; no previous parliamentary experience is necessary.

The position is part time (0.6) — Monday, Thursday and Friday. 

 

Salary: Grade 3.1, $68,884 (as at 1 July 2019) pro rata
