Waste Water System Assembler

Aquatec Fluid Systems are leading water innovation partners to the water and waste water industries. We provide turn-key systems for a wide range of environmental sewerage & water infrastructure solutions, including large scale developments, councils, water authorities and extensive retail and channel partners.

We are seeking a Waste Water System Assembler to join our established and growing team based in Shepparton.  This is a permanent casual position for a minimum of six (6) weeks with the potential to go full time and is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, passionate person who is looking to develop their career, and learn new skills in a supportive and team-based environment.

 

About the position

The Waste Water Systems Assembler will be responsible for fitting out tanks and testing pumps to satisfy customer orders.  We are looking for someone who is interested in working in a team environment who is self driven and takes pride in their work.  

Some of the primary tasks of the position include:

  • Assemble and fit out custom pump station systems in accordance with the design specifications;
  • Record actual parts, materials and time used for each job;
  • Prepare units ready for loading and delivery to customer;
  • Work methodically and efficiently and communicate any difficulties to the Production Manager; and
  • Assist with general production and project tasks as required.

 

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Good attention to detail;
  • Excellent communication skills (written, listening, and verbal);
  • A current drivers licence;
  • The ability to learn quickly and who is self-motivated;
  • Prior experience in the water/wastewater or plumbing industry (an advantage);
  • A current Forklift licence; and
  • Ability to work with power tools and competent in general maintenance.

In addition to the above you will be a natural team player who is easily able to collaborate with others.
