Dealers Assistant

We are seeking to recruit an experienced individual to join our Toowoomba office in the role of Dealers Assistant.

Supporting two advisers and reporting to the State Manager - QLD, your responsibilities will include:

  • Answering all calls in a polite, clear and professional phone manner.
  • Assisting advisers and clients with administration based queries regarding their trades and accounts.
  • Maintenance of orders in system to ensure all orders are current.
  • Verify all submitted documentation from clients.
  • Preparing client letters, reports, bulk portfolio runs, spreadsheets, research or any other mail-out.
  • Preparing documents for investment advisers prior to meetings and assisting with any follow-up items.
  • Ensuring trades settle as required.
  • Filing and ad-hoc administration tasks.

Required experience:

  • 1 - 2 years' administrative experience within financial services preferred.
  • Industry related degree/qualification.
  • Genuine interest in stockbroking.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Thorough approach and good attention to detail.
  • Self-driven and motivated.
  • Positive attitude and team player.
  • Highly organised, committed and reliable
