The Role:

This position is responsible for providing legal advice across the business to drive strategy, mitigate risk, and achieve commercial goals. This role works collaboratively across the business and with other lawyers, to share knowledge and insights
  
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements, leases, service agreements, procurement contracts, and sponsorship agreements
  • Managing and advising on commercial disputes and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinating external legal professionals and advising on a range of matters including IP, privacy and data, competition, consumer law, and WHS matters
  • Advising on the legal aspects of strategic initiatives
  • Advising on promotional and marketing activities
  • Advising on appropriate health and safety programs and environmental practices to meet legal requirements
The Requirements:
  • 2+ years PQE
  • 2 - 4 years of experience gained in a reputable law firm
  • Bachelor's degree in law
  • A pragmatic thinker, organized, energetic, driven and collaborative
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
