IT System Administrator Level 1

The Role

Acting as the first line of contact for all MJH Group businesses you will triage and manage the resolution of Level 1 Incidents and Service Requests by providing excellent technical assistance and customer service to all staff.  Aiding in the installation and troubleshooting of incidents lodged at the Service Desk relating to hardware, software and related infrastructure. Escalation of issues to Level 2 and Level 3 technical staff or external technology partners as required, whilst maintaining ownership of assigned incidents and service requests.

 

The Person

To succeed in this role you will have a strong customer service ethic, have good problem solving techniques and attitude along with the ability to clearly communicate technical instructions, remotely.

You will have a minimum 12 to 18 months experience in a similar role within a Service Desk environment, will have well developed interpersonal skills, including a proven ability to establish & maintain excellent relations within the business. You will also possess an understanding of relevant best-practice frameworks such as IT Service Management ITIL v4.

Technically you will have a solid understanding of MS Office Suites and Applications (O365 preferred), Dynamics 365, Skype for Business, Video Conference facilities, device provisioning and decommissioning, printer support and maintenance as well as mobile device support.
