Junior eCommerce Assistant

INDUSTRIE is one of Australia's most entrepreneurial, fresh and dynamic retailers. We are rapidly expanding into the online market, and as a result we are seeking a dynamic eCommerce Coordinator - Social and Creative, to work on the Industrie and Industrie Kids websites.

About the role:

Reporting to the eCommerce Coordinator, you will be responsible for maximising online sales by driving traffic to our websites and social media.

Key areas of responsibility are assisting the eCommerce coordinator to:

  • Uploading products to the online platform, as well as Myer and David Jones website
  • Curate product descriptions
  • Assist with online photography for new season products 
  • Assist in creating EDMs and graphic content for the website
  • Optimising on-site merchandising and search results
  • Assist with the resolution of online ordering issues by liaising with liaise with Customer Service and the online Warehouse
  • Checking the website on a daily basis and lodging any issues with external developers and the eCommerce coordinator
  • Sales reporting

 

About you

  • You have an appreciation of the Industrie and Industrie Kids aesthetic, with a genuine interest in fashion and menswear
  • Have at least 1 years experience in a similar role, in an eCommerce retail environment (internship or paid work)
  • Possess a intermediate level of skill across Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign
  • Possess well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Forward thinking, proactive and creative
  • Possess excellent time management skills and a disciplined approach to deadlines
  • Flexible and accountable, with the ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment
  • You are highly organised and deadline driven
  • Experience with CMS platforms, particularly Magento, is advantageous
