Finance Administration & Office Manager

Our client is a solution focussed design studio, whose mission is to deliver outcomes that add value and exceed client expectations through a completely blended interior and architecture design team working cohesively on a diverse range of projects.

In an open, collaborative and fast-paced studio environment, you will join their award-winning design team and work closely with the Directors, Designers and Architects to provide a multifaceted service, in this pivotal senior role in the business.

In this role, you will manage and perform the Accounting Admin, HR, Quality Assurance and Administration functions in line with the Company’s strategic direction, mission and values, together with a talented operations team.

The diverse tasks include:

  • Accounting administration functions including project invoicing, purchasing and payment of project and business expenses, debtor management, payroll, procurement of supplies, business and project budget setting and reporting, Profit and Loss and cashflow reporting, and compliance administration in liaison with the external Accountants.
  • Human Resources Administration and Compliance, in liaison with the external HR Consultant
  • Management of front of house operations with the in-house Receptionist
  • Implementing the Quality Assurance system designed to maintain quality standards for the business
  • Supporting the Directors and Leadership Team members in Board Meetings and Management meetings, ensuring action items are actioned

You will have had proven experience in a Office Operations or Business Administration Management role within a successful, fast paced, small to medium business, where you are responsible for the smooth running of the operations.  Your exemplary skills in using multiple computer systems and applications, including Xero Accounting software will be highly regarded.

Most importantly, you have a “ can do attitude”, respect confidentiality and have a professional yet down to earth, approachable demeanor.  You value how you can help others and can manage the contingencies and challenges of working with a high performing team, with minimal fuss.
