The opportunity

Silver Chain has a vacancy for a Registered or Enrolled Nurse.  This position is based out of Toodyay covering the Avon communities. This role offers the opportunity to work in the community with a variety of clients. Acute general nursing skills are desirable; community nursing experience is highly regarded; Enrolled Nurse will be working under the clinical direction of the Registered Nurse. This role provides chronic disease management, wound, and catheter care to clients in their own homes, working a 2-day minimum fortnight Mondays and Wednesday’s availability is preferable between 8.00am – 4.00pm. 

Key responsibilities

You will be an experienced, multi-skilled Nurse. Using your exceptional clinical assessment, decision-making and problem-solving skills and abilities, you will provide an optimum standard of care to our clients, making a real contribution to their health outcomes. 

About you

  • Strong experience in Wound and Catheter care
  • Advanced Clinical assessment skills chronic disease management
  • 2+ years post graduate Nursing experience
  • As an EN you will have HLTEN A, B or C Medication Competency
  • Current Registration with the AHPRA
  • Compassion and enthusiasm, with a friendly approach
  • Excellent Communicational skills both Verbal and written
  • A current driver’s licence

Under the Aged Care act 1997, successful candidates will be required to provide a satisfactory National Police Clearance prior to commencement.
