About the Role

We are looking for a current or recently graduated ICT student to support our ICT Projects implementation team on a casual basis. This role is an opportunity to put your training into practice under the close guidance of our ICT Systems Manager and team.

This role reports directly to the ICT Systems Manager, and will be based at Darra.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Configuration Assistant will be the go-to person to assist with the system processes
  • Ability to understand and advise when changes are suitable to be achieved to meet new business expectations
  • Provide assistance and help to manage the internal and stakeholder relationship to ensure issues are tracked, logged and reported
  • Ensuring we maximise the value of our systems / platform

Skills Requirement

  • Degree, graduate degree or sufficient experience in the discipline of IT System Administrator or similar role
  • Have had some experience in/ exposure to computer programming including Java/Java Script
  • Have had some experience in working with databases
  • Have the ability to learn new concepts and techniques using materials obtained independently from open sources on the web.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to speak with different areas of the business and understand their needs and concerns
  • Strong analytical skills and be able to use experience and knowledge to understand problems and determine the appropriate solutions
  • Be autonomous and able to take the initiative
  • Be able to work independently on tasks and keep the team up to date with key information

To be considered for this role, you must also:

  • Be eligible to apply for a working with children check (blue card) and an exemption notice (yellow card) through The Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services.
  • Be a Permanent Resident of Australia, an Australian/NZ Citizen or valid work rights
