Mechanical Fitter

WILTRADING STACE is a service provider to the Offshore, Oil and Gas, Shipping, Military and Cruise industries offering quality products, innovative solutions and impeccable service. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Fitter to join our team on a Full Time Basis. Based in the Henderson and reporting to the Project Coordinator.
 
We are seeking for a candidate who will represent Wiltrading STACE in the best possible manner and accomplish the tasks allocated with thoroughness and accuracy. The role will consist of the duties outlined below.
Key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for the assembly of Units in the workshop to drawings and specifications supplied.
  •  Monitor progress of assembly against required delivery dates.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of equipment in accordance with QC standards and OEM Standards.
  • Test equipment under relevant supervision and record equipment data.
  • Instrument pipework and assembly.
  • Test HP equipment.
  • Test of relief valves.
  • Conduct In-service vessels inspection.
  • Report component shortages.
  • Monitor continuously part delivery and quality.
  • Measure and record mechanical specifications
  • Undertake Portable Fire Equipment Servicing.

This role is essential to our business and as such we are looking for a candidate who meets the criteria listed below:

  • 3 -5 years of experience in a similar industry
  • Trade Certification in Mechanical Fitting
  • Ability to travel when and if required.
  • Manual drivers licence.
