About the role

The purpose of the role is to lead a newly formed Administration Hub (team) in a complex and busy environment to deliver high quality end-to-end administrative and operational services to the Advice Remediation team. The Team Leader will provide leadership and coaching to the Administrative team to ensure the overall success and implementation of the Remediation program while ensuring the team provides exceptional customer services to remediated clients. 

This is a 12 month fixed term contract opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the administration team to provide high quality end-to-end services to Advice Remediation clients; Advice Remediation Managers and wider team, with the potential to also provide administrative services to the Advice Review team
  • Ensure procedures are maintained while offering client focused solutions that meet the objectives of the Advice Remediation program
  • Ensure the delivery of excellent customer outcomes and a positive experience to remediated clients
  • Lead, mentor and coach the Advice Remediation Consultants and Remediation Support Officers to ensure consistency and accuracy in the various end-to-end processes required 
  • Manage team workflow to meet KPIs and regulatory requirements 

Capabilities & Experience

  • Strong interpersonal skills, situational awareness and emotional intelligence with a natural ability to appropriately adapt personal and leadership styles to maximise influence of situations
  • Skills to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Financial Planning  
  • Substantial relevant administrative and financial management experience at an appropriate level an advantage
  • Tertiary qualifications in related legal, economics, financial planning or business discipline or equivalent experience in a financial services environment.
