Council is seeking to appoint a Library Assistant to contribute to Council’s success.
The purpose of this position is to provide an efficient and effective public library and customer service that meets the needs of its members, and other customers; and promotes positive relationships and communication between Council and the community.
- Application of appropriate skills to effectively serve library clients.
- Experience recording, reconciling and processing financial transactions, including cash handling.
- Legally able to drive a motor vehicle in Queensland.
- Basic numeracy and communication skills to liaise with customers and to complete paperwork.
- Proficient keyboard skills and experience using Microsoft Office Suite and operating corporate business systems.
