A little about the role…

Based predominantly from your home-office and providing mainly phone-based support coordination services to your customers, initially part-time with new referrals received each week with the very real possibility of fast growth.  Some face-to-face support will be required from time to time, so travel will also be required.

With support from the Customer Service Centre Business Manager based in Melbourne, who will empower you to operate autonomously to deliver a remarkable customer experience, whilst providing you with the support you need to perform at your best in the role.

  • Your own work vehicle
  • Significant experience within the mental health field

To shine in the role, you will be intrinsically motivated with a refined philosophy on self-management that enables you to deliver value to your customers and colleagues.

The primary focus of your role will be to…

  • Build meaningful relationships with your customer’s through actively engaging with them on a regular basis to facilitate their ongoing service provision.
  • Support customers to build connections with local providers
  • Discuss support options with NDIS participants, their families/carers and other stakeholders.
  • Support participants to build their skills around plan management and engaging supports
  • Support customers as they engage in plan reviews
  • Deliver most value to customers by embracing a continuous improvement philosophy

As an experienced sole trader, you will be equipped with the required skills and experience…

  • Tertiary qualifications (minimum certificate IV) in Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or other health related field as designated by Mind
  • Current valid Driver’s Licence
  • Current National Police Record Check
  • Current Child Related Screening Check
