About the opportunity

The Coordinator – Complex Case Management leads a case management team and holds a portfolio of responsibilities across a range of Out of Home Care programs. The Coordinator is responsible for managing a team who deliver services to children and young people with complex needs in line with relevant legislation, policies, procedures and child safety standards.

About you

We’re looking for a strong leader who will champion Uniting’s values.

This pivotal position will provide effective leadership to case managers by delivering expert advice and guidance on complex cases.  This will include working closely and collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

Strong decision making, analytical and communication skills with outstanding professional qualities are key to be successful in this role.

Ideally you will have a degree in Social Work, Psychology or a related tertiary qualification relevant to child and family welfare and strong experience in providing clinical support.  Please refer to the Position Description to address the key responsibility areas and person specifications.

  • You will come with a high level of passion for and commitment to working with children and young people within the community
  • You will be energetic and responsive
  • You will thrive in a busy, innovative work enviroment and you will be flexible in prioritizing your workload to suit the needs of the program
