About the opportunity

As the Educational Leader you will work closely with our Early Learning Coordinator and Team Leaders at our four rural locations  You will be responsible for motivating and inspiring our individual team of educators whilst leading Quality Improvement at the services.

You will have the support of the team of Early Childhood Professionals working for Uniting to support and guide you through curriculum expectations at our services.You will work closely with each Early Learning services to coach and mentor educators, to deepen their understanding and implementation of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)and to ensure positive outcomes for the children.

Uniting’s rural childcare services, due to their small licensed numbers, allow for more meaningful relationships with the children and  families from each of these services allowing you to become an integral part of each community.

Position Description

About you

To be considered you will have:

Bachelor of Teaching/Education (Early Childhood)

  • A current Working with Children Check
  • A current HLTDAID004 First Aid and HLTDAID001 CPR
  • Current drivers license and are willing to drive to rural services.
  • Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the National Quality Framework and the Early Learning Framework
  • The passion and ability to inspire, motivate and maintain a positive learning culture within the services for children, their families and your colleagues.
