Apprenticeship Field Officer

About the Role:

This is your opportunity to work for our Recruitment Management Services Division as an Indigenous Apprenticeship & Traineeship Network (IATN) Field Officer.

Reporting to the National Field Operations Manager, you will play a key role in promoting training and employment opportunities to prospective Apprentices and Trainees. You will also be responsible for promoting and selling the Group Training concept to prospective Host Employers with a demonstrated Indigenous Employment Strategy.

This rewarding full-time position will see you developing relationships with key Indigenous organisations and agencies in the communities IATN is servicing.

Selection Criteria:

  • experience working with Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander People
  • demonstrated ability to build the business through targeted marketing strategies
  • current driver licence
  • availability and willingness for overnight and extended periods of travel
  • previous experience in a recruitment role

For this role, the successful applicant will also have the following:

  • knowledge of the Australian Apprenticeship System
  • the ability to adapt to a changing environment and manage deadlines
  • outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with conflict management and problem-solving skills
  • a strong work ethic with excellent role model characteristics
  • intermediate computer skills with a high level attention to detail
  • the ability to work autonomously

The successful applicant will be required to undertake a Police Check and any State/Territory Working with Children Check (where applicable).
