ABOUT THE ROLE
Kaufland Australia is now ready for a confident and motivated Project Manager to join our high performing Procurement Team. Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will be responsible for leading the operative planning and coordination of store furnishings. This is a unique chance to start something new!

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Develop and supervise implementation plans for shop fittings as per given store furnishing standards

  • Assist with the approval of the furnishing plans

  • Assess the feasibility of proposed plans and the evaluate decision making basis

  • Responsible for, control, test, and document implementations

  • Supervise construction/shop fitting schedules

  • Lead planning meetings for coordination and prioritisation with relevant stakeholders

  • Responsible for attending on-site inspections

  • Ensure immaculate delivery of shop fitting and smooth hand-over to the planning team

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics/Engineering or similar

  • 3+ years’ experience in a Project Management role in retail shop fitting or commercial joinery managing end to end projects 

  • Strong understanding of end to end retail shop fit out process, including understanding of all sub-trades

  • Be well networked and have a solid base of contractors and suppliers on which they can call upon

  • Experience managing multiple projects at any given time
