We have a broad range of customers such as local restaurants, cafes, hospitals, schools, pubs and clubs!

The Role

Our Cairns team has an opportunity for an experienced Receptionist / Admin person with a great phone manner to join their friendly team. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform various administrative tasks as outlined by job description, including filing/photocopying and banking
  • Greeting staff, customers and all visitors with a friendly and professional manner
  • Sort and distribute mail
  • Maintaining petty cash, enter payments to customer accounts and balance
  • Create and maintain customer relationships
  • Ensure that all customer details are updated when necessary
  • Communicate with various departments to ensure that a high level of customer service and record accuracy is maintained

Key Competencies, Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Excellent customer service skills with an excellent phone manner
  • Timely and accurate data entry with excellent attention to detail
  • Willingness to take on varied or new tasks within the office
  • Good product knowledge
  • Capable of working under pressure in a team environment
  • Show initiative and a positive attitude
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
