About the opportunity

As a Senior Manager you will be responsible for a portfolio of clinical services and/or programs. The Senior Manager Clinical Services (Residential) portfolio currently includes the Adult and Mother Baby withdrawal unit (Curran Place),  the Youth withdrawal unit (Williams House), Youth Home Based Withdrawal and other Uniting Youth Residential Services however this may vary.

This position oversees the management, leadership, policy development and service delivery, which responds to and prevents alcohol and other drug and mental health related harm to individuals, families and the community. The Senior Manager forms part of the ReGen cluster Senior Management team.

About you

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • A relevant graduate qualification in a Health, Social Science, and Education, Management and/or other related discipline.
  • Experience mentoring senior staff including Managers and Senior Managers.
  • Able to provide expertise to DHHS and other government departments through participation in Advisory groups and panels
  • Proven ability to effectively manage financial resources maximising on opportunities without comprising quality of delivery.
  • Evidence of an understanding of public health and alcohol and drug services in the context of State and Federal policy direction and relevant legislation.
