About the Role

We are looking for experienced Allied Health Assistant to join our team. As a valued member of the team, you will be supporting our allied health professionals to deliver quality therapy services.

This role is offered on a permanent part time basis (20 hrs/week) and will be based at Darra supporting our Brisbane South therapy team. In this role you will also work from swimming pools across Brisbane to facilitating hydrotherapy sessions through a structured program designed by our physiotherapists.

 

Skills & Attributes

  • Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance or other relevant qualification;
  • Ability to develop excellent customer relationships, with a passion for working with children;
  • Customer service focus (internal and external) with a can-do attitude.
  • Be flexible and adaptable in your work.
  • Possession of Senior First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Possession of Pool Rescue certification.
  • Be eligible to apply for a working with children check (blue card) and an exemption notice (yellow card) through The Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate of Completion (online)
  • Be an Australian on NZ Citizen on Permanent Resident, or have a relevant visa.
