WLS is committed to the development of its employees and as such, we now have an opportunity to join the People and Performance team as the HR Coordinator on a part time ongoing capacity.  This is a brand new opportunity that has been recognised as an integral part of the business to provide operational support to the business.

Reporting to the People and Performance Manager, the HR Coordinator will be a key position in the delivery of all human resources through a strong understanding of the company’s culture and business strategy, and implementing consistent HR policies, frameworks and processes that drive strong employee alignment.

Key elements of the role include:

  • Recruitment and training activities as required
  • Internal and external reporting activities
  • Compliance with legislation and company policies, procedures and other requirements
  • General HR advice to Managers
  • Operational support
  • Involvement in a range of HR related projects

To be successful in this role you will be suitably qualified and have demonstrated knowledge and expertise in operational human resources or a related field, along with highly developed conceptual and analytical skills and demonstrated ability to make sound judgements in a timely and appropriate manner.  Ideally, also having working knowledge and experience in the application of relevant Acts, Regulations and staffing policies and practices would be highly regarded.

Applications require a resume and cover letter, and will close at midnight on Monday, 8 July 2019.

WLS is committed to providing an environment which protects the health, safety and wellbeing of all children and young people. We want children to be safe, happy and empowered.
