Broker Support Officer

My client is a highly regarded, professional, commercial insurance broker, servicing SME and commercial clients.
 
My client has been around for over 30 years however this new & innovative Broking part of their business manages all aspects of commercial insurance including but not limited to Commercial Motor, Plant, Liability, business packages and domestic.

With a demonstrated approach to client focused and consultative advice, this brokerage places a high level of importance on developing and maintaining a relationship of trust and professionalism with their clients, the results of which speak for themselves in a fast paced, dynamic and fun environment
 
Main duties:
  • Processing renewals, endorsements, and new business inquiries
  • Electronic filing
  • General liaison with clients, including information gathering 
  • Liaising with Brokers, Insurers, Clients, Internal Brokers and Insurers
  • Provide support and learn from Senior Brokers how to manage a designated client portfolio
  • Providing the highest level of customer support to clients and management
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders
  • General office duties; such as phone answering, office filing, client enquiries etc.
Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum 2 year's insurance experience in an insurance broking firm 
  • Tier One qualified or RG146 Compliant is desirable
  • Knowledge of insurance computer software such as Eclipse
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance products
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Time management skills
