FIFO Workshop Supervisor
Our client is currently seeking a Workshop Supervisor to manage their workshop.

This position is based in Port Hedland with FIFO from Perth. A suitable roster will be negotiated with the successful applicant. 

Only candidates with nationally recognized qualifications in Heavy Duty Plant Mechanics and demonstrated supervisory experience within the construction/mining industry will be considered.

This position is available for immediate start

• Experience in supervision essential
• Must be able to pass regular D&A testing
• Australian recognized Trade Qualifications

As a key member on the team, you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing the day to day running and organisation of the Workshop
• Scheduling and planning of onsite and offsite machine maintenance & repairs
• Assigning and directing mechanical fitters
• Coordinate attendance of machine breakdowns in a timely manner
• Reporting and budgeting
• Undertaking diagnostic work whilst also liaising with technical support staff

To be successful in this role:

• You will hold relevant trade qualifications in Heavy Vehicle/Diesel Mechanical works
• Hold a current Australian Drivers License (HC or higher preferred) and WA White Card
• Previously demonstrated supervisory experience
• Previously demonstrated experience working in servicing, repairs and diagnostic work
• Be physically fit/ ability to pass a Cat 3 Medical with fitness testing
• IT literate
