The Company:

Our client is a leading provider and manufacturer of nutritional sports supplements, with headquarters located here on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. After experiencing a period of rapid growth, the organisation is set for new heights and as such are seeking a passionate Business Manager with exceptional leadership skills to take charge of the team. Working alongside a team of dedicated experts and business owners, the role requires commitment and strong organisational skills to ensure future success of the business.

The Position:

Working in an autonomous capacity, you will be responsible in leading a team of office staff, maintaining strong relationships with various stakeholders and oversee the end to end management of the operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and customer service standards are maintained.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Largely drive the implementation of newly developed policies and procedures and create a new Business Management System
• Adapting your management and communication styles when dealing with different team members to achieve maximum results, including acting as a mentor, coach or counsellor depending on circumstances
• Daily monitoring of new and existing sales orders and ensure customer satisfaction is maintained at all times
• Allocate and schedule tasks to various team members
• Provide support to the sales & marketing teams on the overall management of stakeholder relationships and day to day coordination of events & communications
• Monitor stock levels and the logistical coordination of products to ensure sufficient supply levels are maintained at all time
• Take details for quotes/rates requests from customers and ensure appropriate servicing of accounts
• Quality Control and Assurance
• Train and upskill team members as identified
• Implement and contribute to improving business process and procedures
• Oversee and maintain the day to day running’s of the office
• Sales & Financial reporting, and setting targets for the team based on your findings

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

• Leadership of operational teams with strong culture
• Strong and proven ability to manage sales and forecast budgets for future profitability
• The ability to train and mentor others to build a positive working culture
• Focus on customer service and achieving desired outcomes for customer experience is a must
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders and staff at all levels
• Prior industry experience within Sports Nutrition, or Health and Fitness Industry highly desirable
• Formal Degree or qualifications in Business Management/Human Resources or similar
