Ripehouse Advisory is an exciting and growing business providing data driven investment research to Buyers’ Agents around the Country.

Based in Hobart, Ripehouse Advisory is seeking an engaged and motivated Property Research Analyst to join our growing team on a full-time basis.

Interesting work

Supported by Ripehouse Advisory’s bespoke research platform, your key responsibilities will be:

  • Identifying property candidates that suit our client’s briefs. This will include tasks such as calculating the gross yield post any renovation works and reviewing a property’s subdivision potential under the local planning schemes;

  • Completing high level due diligence on the properties. This will include, for example, checking that a property isn’t within a flood zone or beneath a flight path; and

  • Appraising the value of properties. This will include reviewing a property’s key characteristics and comparing them with nearby properties that have been recently sold.

Who we’re looking for

You might be already working in a similar position (such as Real Estate Agent or Valuer) or have relevant experience (like reviewing a property’s comparable sales or analysing a property’s subdivision potential). If so, we’d like to hear from you!

The following skills and experience would help you excel in this role:

  • Alignment with our vision and strategy.

  • An exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

  • A passion for real estate & investment. This might include experience completing your own renovations for profit or subdivisions - or working in a position exposed to such activities.

  • Excellent written and verbal skills with a polite and professional phone manner.

  • Strong computer skills (Google Docs, Adobe Suite preferable).

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
