About the Role

We are currently looking for a motivated Corporate Services Assistant to join our team in Sydney and become an integral member of the Facilities Team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to closely interact with the facilities team and the senior stakeholders whilst being part of a large peer group of like-minded professionals. You will be empowered to become master of your craft and your job responsibilities which include:

  • Assist Reception with a visitor sign in and induction processes – particularly with large groups.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of all Meeting Room AV equipment and its operation
  • Provide assured, efficient, timely, in-house, AV support (video conference, Skype, etc.) to our internal and external clients.
  • Escalate any maintenance issues to IT or Facilities Manager as required.
  • Manage all room setups and break downs including furniture, operable walls, whiteboards, flipcharts, etc.
  • Assist staff with catering requests, setups and deliveries as required.
  • Assist in the management and maintenance of meeting room booking system.
  • Process invoices.
  • Provide support and assistance to the wider Facilities Team as and when required
  • Daily Reception Cover, delivering a professional reception service to internal and external clients.
  • Upkeep and maintenance of shared services such as Kitchens, and Meeting Rooms. 
  
You will need
To be organised and proactive, approachable, dependable, you work well under pressure and juggling multiple priorities as no day is the same.  Specifically, we’re looking for someone who:
  • Have 6 to 12 months experience in a similar role.
  • Experience within Hospitality preferred but not essential 
  • Be comfortable and confident with technology.
  • Be able to learn processes and troubleshoot problems calmly and quickly.
  • Be confident providing instruction and assistance to internal and external clients at all levels.
  • Be able to remain calm, focused and effective under scrutiny and in time critical situations
  • Have strong customer service focus with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Be polished and professional presentation
  • Have sound knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
