Having recently merged with our sister company Iplex Pipelines, together we are one of the largest Australian suppliers of pipes, fittings and civil infrastructure solutions with a combined 176 years’ of experience and a national footprint that can manufacture and distribute in all states.


About the Role


We look forward to you joining the team at Rocla in this critical sales role. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager – Southern, you will utilise your proven background as a customer focused sales professional to maintain and grow an established customer base in the Southern NSW and Northern VIC region.


Specifically, the role will see you;

  • Manage our established customer base of sub-division customers, road contractors and councils through regular call cycles and face to face meetings
  • Deliver agreed revenue targets, sales margins and broader strategies that increase market share
  • Develop and maintain a high level of business and market awareness
  • Build and maintain a high level of technical product knowledge
  • Form long-term relationships and develop a thorough understanding of customer needs
  • Provide timely and accurate market feedback, including market intelligence to ensure accurate decisions are made by the business
  • Coordinate appropriate technical and engineering support across the range of products to ensure close engagement with customers


About You

  • Previous experience in a similar field sales role coupled with demonstrated account management skills
  • Strong customer service skills and a relationship driven approach in collaborating with and influencing key stakeholders 
  • Intermediate computer skills coupled with previous experience in analysing data and providing reports when required
  • Proven technical aptitude with the ability to build product knowledge and understand customer needs
  • Although not essential, those with previous experience with concrete products or within the civil infrastructure or construction industry will be viewed favourably
