ONLINE STORE DISPATCH ASSISTANT - ALLY FASHION

Ally fashion is a young ladies fast fashion destination providing high street fashions and the latest trends at an affordable price.

With a current portfolio of 140+ stores and a successful online store, ally presents a number of opportunities for team members who want to be to be part of this exciting company.

An opportunity has become available to join our fast paced Online team as a CASUAL Online Store Dispatch Assistant.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience in a previous online dispatch/store or warehouse role, demonstrate initiative and energetic, can do, hands on approach. The role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and basic computer skills.  Experience in an apparel environment, and an understanding of warehouse systems is an advantage

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Picking of clothing for shipping is the main focus
  • Packing, labelling and checking online orders for dispatch may also be required
  • Accurately checking and receipting deliveries
  • Accurately putting away of online store product and stock control
  • Assist with ticketing and pricing of product
  • Assisting during stocktakes with accuracy and efficiency
  • Maintaining the cleanliness, organisation and safety of the online warehouse
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as requested

KEY REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE:

  • Ability to work safely, productively and accurately with minimal supervision, consistently meet and exceed minimum performance requirements
  • Maintain an orderly condition of your assigned work area
  • Be flexible and cooperative when asked to support other departments and/or job functions
  • Ability to work well with others in a group and foster a team environment where members are committed to a common set of performance goals and targets
  • Display a customer first attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast pace, manual environment which require repetitive activity, standing for periods of time and some heavy lifting
  • Must be available and flexible to work Monday to Saturday to support the needs of the business and our customers 

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT MUST HAVE:

  • A high level of enthusiasm and energy
  • Good clear communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
