Investment Analyst / Associate, Outstanding Private Investment Fund

Our client operates a flexible investment mandate investing in a concentrated portfolio of both public and private companies across different industry sectors and geographies, acquiring sizeable stakes in businesses with clear growth strategies. A newly created role exists for an Investment Associate to join the firm. As part of a highly collegiate team you will work alongside the Investment Managers and Partners to enable the firm to make educated investment decisions and add value to portfolio companies in both private and public markets.

With long term committed capital, consistently high investment returns, and a reputation for working hand in hand with strong management teams across growth focused businesses, this role represents an excellent entry point to an investment fund and will provide the successful applicant with genuine first hand exposure to operating businesses and investment processes.

Candidates will ideally have between 2-4 years experience in M&A at an investment bank, leading independent firm or top tier CA firm, or will have spent time in equity research, management consulting or buy side investing ( PE / Listed Equities ). You will be able to articulate your genuine interest in investing and the workings of operational businesses, will have first class interpersonal skills and will be someone who takes a patient and long term view on their career and investing. In addition you will be comfortable with the regular travel overseas (USA mostly).
